My Furman Advantage Experiences:

Study Away - I had the opportunity to go on a MayX led by the History Department’s Dr. Marian Strobel to visit Europe - specifically the UK, France, and Belgium - to learn firsthand about WW1 history by visiting battlefields, museums, and monuments.

Three words that describe Furman:

Passionate, Genuine, Challenging

Favorite Furman memory:

I had the opportunity to present my work on a multimedia narrative project about a Furman class of 1964 graduate and Vietnam Veteran, titled Soldier’s Don’t Cry, at the annual Furman Engaged expo.

“Go-to” meal on campus:

My favorites are the Near and Far section at the Dining Hall or a Moe's burrito bowl with chips and queso at the Paladen.

Favorite Furman tradition:

Japanese Language House annual Halloween party!
