International Education Week (IEW) celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. IEW stems from a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of State with the goals of expanding cultural competencies and worldviews, connecting U.S. communities with programs that develop global skills and knowledge, and celebrate the breadth of cultures.
