International Education Week (IEW) celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. IEW stems from a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of State with the goals of expanding cultural competencies and worldviews, connecting U.S. communities with programs that develop global skills and knowledge, and celebrate the breadth of cultures.

  • 9:00 AM – supplies last: International Coffee Hour with Synergy Coffee and Center for Inclusive Communities [Trone Patio].
    • Come join us for coffee and community before classes! First 200 people will recieve a free cup of their choice! Synergy is a local organization and all of their coffee beans are fair trade from Colombia.Flavors include chai latte, affogato (dairy and non-dairy), maple lattes, Mexican hot chocolate, and Columbian Coffee beans.
