David Lominack (Upstate, Fall 2012), South Carolina market president for TD Bank, was named the 2022-23 chair of the South Carolina Chamber; Will Whitley (Upstate, Fall 2018), director of state and local government affairs and community relations for Michelin North America, will become chair in 2023 and will be the Chamber’s first Black chair. Read more

Among Trident United Way’s 2021 Women United award winners are Lana Kleiman (Lowcountry, Fall 2019), executive director of Charleston Legal Access, who received the Nonprofit of the Year award; and Cathy Almquist (Lowcountry, Fall 2021), Trident Technical College’s vice president for education, who received the Role Model of the Year award. Read more
