Why Furman? I chose Furman University because of its strong academic reputation and the opportunity to pursue my passion to be a stockbroker. Furman’s diverse curriculum stood out to me because it encourages critical thinking, interdisciplinary learning, and hands-on experiences—whether through research, internships or study abroad programs. The small class sizes and emphasis on faculty mentorship were also key factors in my decision, as they allow for more personalized attention and the chance to build strong connections with professors
Fun fact: I am working for the United Word College Belarusian National Committee. I am selecting the best talents from Belarus and awarding them with scholarships for 1 out of 18 United World Colleges around the world. It gives students from my home country bigger opportunities to pursue their dreams and become successful in life.
