Mike joined Furman in 2011 as the IT Service Center Director and was appointed Associate Vice President of Technology in 2025. In this role, Mike provides strategic technology direction for the campus and oversees IT services and policies. He works closely with university divisions, departments, institutes, centers, and organizations to deliver excellent technology services to students, faculty, and staff.

Prior to joining Furman, Mike served as Director of Technology Support at Kutztown University.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mike is a familiar face at Furman sporting events. He actively helps on game days for soccer and basketball and makes an effort to attend other athletic events whenever possible.
