Michelle joined Furman’s grant team in October of 2022 after serving in grants administration roles at Macalester College (St. Paul, MN) and the University of Kent (Canterbury, UK). Michelle supports external grant seeking activities on campus, including identifying funding opportunities, supporting the preparation of proposals and budgets, assisting with post-award reporting responsibilities, and grant closeout. She advises on policies related to external grants and supports the office’s outreach efforts.
