Megan Richmond serves the Institute for the Advancement of Community Health as the Postdoctoral Training Coordinator. In this role she collaborates with faculty, researchers, and community partners to develop trainings that increase knowledge and execution of community based participatory research.

She is a seasoned healthcare and higher education professional with over two decades of experience in clinical practice, academia, and leadership. Her interprofessional work centers on using big data to evaluate health outcomes, with the aim of shaping policies that improve access to care. As an active advocate, Dr. Richmond collaborates with policy analysts and serves as a subject matter expert to inform federal policymakers about the ongoing needs of medically complex pediatric patients.

In higher education, Dr. Richmond leads innovative curriculum development rooted in Universal Design for Learning, emphasizing civility, patient-centered care, and inclusivity. Through her teaching, research, and advocacy, she is dedicated to building a more responsive, equitable, and effective healthcare system.
