Megan Dodgens is the Riley Institute’s Director of Diversity Leadership Strategies. She is responsible for overseeing a variety of diversity efforts, including the Diversity Leaders Initiative, and managing related strategic planning.

Dodgens has been instrumental in the development of timely and relevant DLI programming, including OneSouthCarolina, the DLI graduate weekend; the DLI graduate education series; and the temporary conversion of DLI to a digital format in response to the COVID‐19 pandemic.

She serves on Furman’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, the Awards and Grants diversity subcommittee for Furman, and on the REEM Commission’s Communitywide Learning Committee. Dodgens holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Clemson University.
