Megan is the director for the Center for Diversity Strategies for the Riley Institute at Furman. She is responsible for overseeing a variety of diversity efforts and manages strategic planning related to diversity programming for the institute, including the Diversity Leaders Initiative.

Megan was part of the team that developed OneSouthCarolina, the DLI graduate weekend, and was instrumental in the development of the DLI graduate education series launched in fall of 2020. She serves on the board of directors for The Children’s Museum of the Upstate and also on the board of Momentum Bike Clubs. Additionally she serves on Furman’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee and its awards and grants subcommittee.

Megan holds a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University in English.
