Mark Nelson retired from the Greenville Police Department in November of 2022 to work with the Furman University Police Department. He is looking forward to his second career working with the men and women of this department to serve the students, faculty and staff of Furman University. He hopes he is able to serve you with a positive partnership to do all that he can to improve the situations encountered together.

Nelson has lived in Greenville his entire life and is now proud to be a part of this historic university. He looks forward to meeting you in the future.
