Marie Putnam Havran, EdD, is an elementary literacy specialist in Greenville, South Carolina, and an adjunct professor at Furman University. Marie earned her bachelor’s degree at Indiana State University, her master’s at Furman University, and her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction at The University of South Carolina.
