Mackenzie joined the CRW in 2024. She supervises climbing wall and climbing wall staff and works closely with FUOC to plan trips and assist with club operations.

Mackenzie began her career in higher education by joining the Outdoor Leadership minor at Winthrop University. While completing this minor, she became an outdoor guide; leading ziplining trips, running a climbing wall and high ropes course, and leading kayaking trips. She found a passion for helping people overcome their fears and push themselves out of their comfort zones. Once in grad school, she was able to lead Clemson students on backpacking trips, kayaking trips, SUP trips, and taught a course focused on team building. During the summers, she was able to continue guiding and worked in the PNW, Jackson Hole, San Francisco, and Costa Rica, leading kids on life changing trips.

In her free time, Mack enjoys exploring Greenville and the surrounding mountains with her partner and her dog and cats, Pepper, Blue Raspberry (Razzy), and Chewbacca (Chewy).
