Loretta Crowley serves as the Director of Education for the Institute for the Advancement of Community Health at Furman University. As Director of Education, she provides leadership for educational program efforts of the Institute for the Advancement of Community Health, including developing, implementing, and overseeing undergraduate and community-based educational programming initiatives and supports Furman University’s Master of Science in Community Engaged Medicine program through instruction and support for fieldwork and clinical experience placement.

Loretta joined the Institute for the Advancement of Community Health in 2021 as Health Education Manager. Prior to joining the IACH team, she served as the Manager for Community Pediatrics with the Bradshaw Institute for Community Child Health & Advocacy at Prisma Health, responsible for the development and implementation of initiatives designed to reduce health disparities, improve access to care in underserved areas, and address population health strategies. In addition, Crowley served as lead consultant for the Greenville County Care Coordination Collaborative, a collaborative effort designed to identify system-wide barriers that prevent access to care for children and explore population health strategies to improve the health and well-being of children and families.
