Lauren is a pianist, theorist, performer, and educator who is passionate about helping students discover and refine their own voice as a musician. Being a pianist and theorist, Lauren teaches at the intersection of performance and theory, helping students become well-rounded and informed performers. She has performed throughout the United States, Ecuador, and Finland during her concert career.
Lauren attended Furman University and received a B.M. in Piano Performance and Music Theory. As an undergraduate, Lauren was a prize winner in many competitions, including the 2022 International Keyboard Odyssiad Competition. She then continued her studies at the University of Florida where she taught keyboard skills classes, was a member of the graduate piano quartet, and worked as a collaborative pianist. She graduated in 2024, earning her M.M. in Piano Performance with a cognate in Music Theory.
