Kristin (Kae) is a counselor at Trone Center for Mental Fitness. She focuses on holding a supportive and empowering space where each student can share their own challenges and needs, and identify and build strengths and skills to work towards the goals and change they wish to see in their lives. She offers an eclectic array of therapeutic tools adapted to individual students' needs and preferences including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Motivational Interviewing. She serves as the LGBTQ+ point of contact at TCMF.

Originally from Oregon, Kae has also lived in France, Philadelphia and Princeton, NJ. Prior to becoming a counselor, she worked in the research sector in cognitive sciences and language learning, and taught French at the University of Pennsylvania. She has also taught yoga, and likes hiking, reading, writing, and quality time with friends and family.
