Prior to joining the Department of Music at Furman, Jill Gusukuma (she/her) served for over six years on staff in the School of Music at Baylor University as an administrative associate for Choral Activities and Instrumental Studies. Before beginning a career in higher education, she worked in customer service in boutique retail and was also a choral, elementary, and special needs music educator at the high school and elementary levels in Michigan and Texas. Jill earned both her Masters and Bachelors degrees from Baylor University. She now lives in Greenville with her husband, Stephen, and their dog, Mochi.
