Jason Cassidy, associate vice president for student life and dean of students, joined the university in 1999.

During his tenure at Furman, Cassidy has previously served as an area coordinator, assistant director and director of housing and residence life. A graduate of Bethany College, Cassidy holds a master of college student affairs degree from Canisius College and a doctorate in educational leadership from Clemson University.
