"Furman always gives me surprises! It became my dream school since the first time I opened the website. This gorgeous campus shocked me. Therefore, I did not hesitate to commit to Furman, and I’ve never regretted this choice.

I came from England to a Division II school in Alabama and worked my way up to Furman, a competitive Division I school. I participated in the soccer program, and it really is the pinnacle. I love being challenged on and off the field, and for that reason, Furman was the perfect place for me. With a mixture of top-level athletics and academics, it could be challenging but The Furman Advantage enabled me to succeed in every facet of life. The Furman Advantage is what separates the students here from those elsewhere. Not only are we challenged on and off the field, but we are enriched culturally through the cultural life program, which allows us to have a metaphorical window into other cultures. In addition to this, there are various research opportunities in all departments, which means that learning is transferred from the classroom into a real-world setting."
