"My four-year educational experiences at Furman have had a profound influence on my self-awareness, worldview, and vocational goal. During these years, I actively participated in Study Away, Undergraduate Research, Internships, Cultural Life Programs, and General Education Requirements, which are all great components in the Furman Advantage initiative. Besides, I also developed close relationships with several professors who dedicate themselves to teaching and advising. We still maintain communication regularly even after my graduation. More importantly, as an international student, I feel a strong sense of belonging in the Greenville and Furman communities. Now, as a professional higher education researcher and scholar, I really wish I could help to create more organic advanced learning institutions—like Furman—for a global community."
