Haorui Sun

Haorui graduated from Grinnell College with a double major in Computer Science and Biology, and was just one art class short of also completing a Neuroscience minor. Drawn to the complexity of the brain and eager to bring together his interdisciplinary background, he went to the University of Vermont for a PhD program in Biomedical Engineering. His research focuses on using multimodal physiological data to study mind-wandering, and on using vision-language models for video game coaching.

Outside of class and lab, Haorui is a big video gamer and plays a lot of Counter-Strike. He also skis.
