Fred Sturgis
Managing Director and Co-Founder, Resurgens Technology Partners
Fred is a 1993 honors graduate of Furman University with a B.S. degree in Mathematics, where he was also a member of the football team. He subsequently received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar.
Fred is a Managing Director and Co-Founder of Resurgens Technology Partners, an Atlanta-based private equity firm with over $1.5 billion in assets under management. Prior to forming Resurgens, Fred was a private equity investor at both Accel-KKR and H.I.G. Capital. Earlier in his career, he was in the investment banking and consulting industries.
Fred is a member of the Board of Trustees of Skyland Trail, a nationally renowned residential mental health treatment center. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of The Marist School in Atlanta. He and his wife, Melissa, live in Atlanta and have three children.
