Brittany Downey is the Riley Institute’s diversity strategies coordinator and administrative assistant. In this role, she provides administrative support across the entire institute, with a special focus on the Diversity Leaders Initiative and the Center for Diversity Strategies.

Prior to joining the Riley Institute, Downey worked in Florida's nonprofit sector as an early childhood assessor and specialist for three years. More recently, she spent eight years as a project manager and administrative assistant in the environmental science field, working to protect waterways across the Southeast. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida.
