"Furman was my dream school and the only college I applied to, and now I am so blessed to say Furman is still my dream school. My biggest hope when I first came to Furman was to find my sense of belonging in this completely different environment compared to home. Furman provides me with an awesome community with a group of close friends, both international and domestic, whom I truly trust and feel comfortable sharing my thoughts with.

Moreover, Furman's academic programs have challenged me and helped me prepare for life after graduation. I came to Furman wanting to become a history major. Thanks to my professors and their constant support and inspiration, I was able to declare major: Religion. I could combine my love for both history and religion in various assignments and projects. Furman's Study Abroad program and Summer Research Fellowship also constantly push me to become a better and more engaging scholar, for which I am very grateful.

Furman is truly my home far away from home."
