Anieke grew up in the Greenville area, and she always felt a drive for justice, fairness, and service. After graduating from Furman, Anieke served as a deputy with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office for nearly two years before returning home to work at the Furman Police Department. At Furman, Anieke hopes to lead efforts in building genuine community partnerships that improve public safety on campus in a manner that embraces diversity, equity, service, and strong community ties between the public, law enforcement, and the many diverse groups that comprise the Furman community.
