Amy Keely is the Riley Institute’s Director of South Carolina Afterschool Leaders Empowered (SCALE), an initiative that equips afterschool and summer learning leaders from across the state with the tools to grow and improve their programs. Keely also directs the Dick and Tunky Riley WhatWorksSC Award program, which recognizes outstanding evidence-based programs that are positively impacting public education in South Carolina.

Prior to joining the Institute, Amy worked in Greenville’s nonprofit sector, creating and implementing afterschool and summer programs, writing grants, and developing training and technical assistance for school-based site coordinators across the state. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Western Carolina University.
