The Furman Advantage: Here’s what I participated in!

Study Away- I participated in a semester long study away in Madrid, Spain with the Spanish Department. Being abroad with a cohort of Furman students really helped me get to know people I probably wouldn’t have otherwise. I loved getting to live the language, and if I could do it again, I’d study abroad every single time.

What is your favorite moment at Furman?

Watching people come together and support each other after Hurricane Helene is one of the best memories I've had at Furman. It was a real "we're all in this together" moment.

What is your favorite “go-to” meal on campus?

Chick-fil-A spicy chicken sandwich with bacon, American cheese, extra pickles; Chick-fil-A and ranch sauces for the fries and a large sweet tea.

What is your favorite tradition at Furman?

On the last day of class (LDOC) Spring semester, when the seniors spend their day in the fountains!
