Abigail Peters joined the Furman University Police Department in June 2024 as an officer. She holds an Associates Degree from Tri County Technical College, and a Bachelors Degree from Clemson University where she graduated in May 2017. Abigail began her career in law enforcement in August 2017 as a deputy with the Greenville County Sheriffs Office. While there, she served as an FTO (Field Training Officer) and ground crew member for the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office Underwater Search and Recovery Team. In August 2025, Abigail began her current role as a Support Services Technician, in addition to being a part-time dispatcher and NCIC ATAC (Assistant Terminal Agency Coordinator) for the department.
