OLLI at Furman to hold virtual classes
OLLI at Furman is registering for 65 live-online classes, which will be delivered via Zoom beginning Sept. 14. Nancy Kennedy, director of the program, was quoted in a Greenville Journal article. She said, “We’ve learned that if we can get somebody on Zoom, they can do it, and they come to realize they are more computer-savvy than they ever imagined.” Kennedy said Zoom orientations are conducted almost daily to help members get acclimated to the technology. Registration is ongoing through the first day of class, Sept. 14. Classes typically meet once per week, and run through mid-November.
