Heidi Bostic, visiting associate provost for special projects at Furman University, looks beyond higher education as a means to a singular end, that is, the quest for the perfect job. In a piece she wrote for “The Evolllution,” she answers the question, “How do we teach and learn to educate human beings for life?” Bostic added, “Surely for the health of society we need to prepare students (and ourselves) not just for a job, but for a lifetime of flourishing through meaningful work.”
