Trump’s conservative picks will impact courts for decades

In the run-up to the 2020 election, President Donald Trump can single out his federal court appointments to rally support among Republicans. Amid the impeachment inquiry and other dubious parts of his record, Trump’s base may be appeased by his judicial picks, according to Furman University Politics and International Affairs Professor Danielle Vinson. She spoke to senior political reporter Daniel Bush in a PBS NewsHour story.
