Furman alum elected to Congress

Furman alum David Trone won Maryland’s 6th Congressional District Tuesday night, defeating Republican Amie Hoeber. Trone graduated from Furman in 1977 and is a member of the university’s Board of Trustees. You can read more in The Washington Post.
