Why I picked Furman

In the fall issue of U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges,” Furman alum Nathan Mathai ’17 was among nine college graduates who explained why they chose to enroll at their particular schools.

Mathai, who graduated in May with a degree in accounting, wrote about being intrigued by the “stunning campus” and the “chance to explore my many interests, including politics, history, numbers and theater.” The conclusion of the Plano, Texas native: “Going to Furman was absolutely the right decision for me.”
