The Journey Continues

Clint Dempsey is one of the best soccer players the United States has ever produced.  He is the only American to score in three different FIFA World Cups, and he is the men’s national team’s all-time leader in World Cup Qualifying goals with 14. Dempsey’s journey started in Nacogdoches, Texas, and ran through Furman University before he joined the professional ranks and made his indelible mark on the game.  According to an article in U.S. Soccer, Dempsey has given his all to the game and he isn’t through yet.
