More love for Riley the dog
Riley (center) brought joy to many on the Furman campus.
A story about Riley’s Pet Rainbow Bridge on Furman News has captured the hearts of local media. Riley, a golden retriever-basset mix who visited Furman University as part of her daily routine, is at the center of a structure on campus that honors her and other pets who have passed away.
WYFF News 4 covered the story, followed by The Greenville News, which also offered a photo gallery of the bridge, complete with tiny pawprints. For The State, journalist Lyn Riddle also penned a story that was picked up by the Merced Sun-Star. Before Riley crossed the Rainbow Bridge last year, Furman News posted this story.
