A group of Furman University students gathered to paint a bridge in honor of Furman’s “unofficial campus mascot” Riley, part golden retriever, part basset hound, who made nearly daily rounds on campus with her humans. Riley died last year, but Riley’s Pet Rainbow Bridge is a permanent fixture that pays tribute to her and lost pets everywhere. WYFF News 4 covered the story. See related stories on Furman News.
