Brent Nelsen comments on Supreme Court’s tariff ruling

Furman University’s Brent Nelsen spoke with FOX Carolina News anchor Justin Dougherty about the Supreme Court’s 6-3 ruling against the Trump administration’s global tariff action. Nelsen, the Jane Fishburne Hipp Professor of Politics and International affairs, said the court ruled that the authority to levy tariffs rests squarely on Congress and that President Trump’s move to increase tariffs across the board was unconstitutional.
