Furman University music alumnus Tyrese Byrd ’20 earned third place at the inaugural American National Oratorio Competition presented by the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park (Florida). The news about Byrd, a tenor and vocal performance alum from Williamston, South Carolina, appeared in a press release and on the Bach Festival Society’s website.
