Adams, Marsden ’25 talk composting on ‘Access Carolina’

Furman University Farm Manager Bruce Adams and Student Assistant Farm Manager Summer Marsden ’25 appeared on FOX Carolina’s “Access Carolina” to talk all things composting with host Margaret Burnquist. The Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities at Furman will host a workshop on “The Art and Science of Composting” Saturday, Feb. 22, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Adams and Marsden demonstrated the composting process and showed viewers what ingredients are necessary to produce nutrient rich compost. The $50 workshop is open to the public. Registration is available on The Shi Institute’s blog page.
