Those who live in Greenville, South Carolina, know it’s beautiful. Furman University’s hometown is also affordable, says Money Inc in “50 Most Affordable Places to Live in the Southeast: Budget-Friendly Southern Gems Revealed.” Greenville is noted for having a nice blend of “urban amenities and small-town charm,” its downtown area with abundant restaurants, shops and cultural attractions, and its proximity to the beach and nearby mountains.
