Furman University institutes and centers exist to build strong relationships between campus and the community it serves. The Institute for the Advancement of Community Health will be hosting sessions in the early part of 2025 that address social and emotional wellness. IACH Executive Director Dr. Kerry Sease explained the series and its first installment about childhood wellness, maternal health care and quality childcare when she appeared as a guest on FOX Carolina’s “Access Carolina” with host Margaret Burnquist.

Learn more about the remaining IACH sessions, which take place at the Crescent Startup Community Jan. 14, and March 11, 2025, at 5 p.m.
