Nelsen comments on election 2024

Furman University’s Brent Nelsen, the Jane Fishburne Hipp Professor of Politics and International Affairs, joined the set of WYFF News 4 to discuss election returns. In two segments airing at 11 p.m. on election night and on the morning of Nov. 6, Nelsen addressed questions about how networks are able to call elections early and why one party’s message resonated with the American electorate more than the other.
