Nelsen comments on Harris VP pick, Walz

In two FOX Carolina News segments airing Aug. 6, Furman University’s Brent Nelsen explained why Kamala Harris’ VP pick, Minn. Gov. Tim Walz, might appeal to blue collar voters in the 2024 presidential election. Nelsen, the Jane Fishburne Hipp Professor of Politics and International Affairs, said Harris’ selection could make for a tight race between the democratic and republican parties all the way to the end of the election.
