Mike Bothwell appears on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’

Furman basketball’s historic March Madness run may be over, but on Kelly Clarkson’s “Snack Bracket,” the Paladins are still in the game. On NBC’s “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” Mike Bothwell ’23 appeared as a guest to support his favorite South Carolina dish, BBQ hash and rice. His nosh was pitted against the bacon-wrapped Senoran hotdog endorsed by Cedric Henderson of the Arizona Wildcats. Bothwell said the dish “doesn’t pass the eye test, but it’s good.” Clarkson agreed after a taste test and picked Bothwell’s BBQ hash and rice to advance to the Final Four. The winner receives the coveted Final Fork trophy.
