On Sept. 1, the Heller Service Corps partnered with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Timmons Arena to benefit the Rise Against Hunger program. Students – including quarterback Hamp Sisson ’22 – packed approximately 45,000 meals to be shipped to Haiti as part of the earthquake relief effort. Each box of food will serve one family for an entire month.

“We are very excited to have our students participate in this awesome program,” said Nancy Cooper, Heller Service Corps coordinator – so excited, in fact, that she hopes it will become an annual occurrence.
