Lila Dawson (English, German ’26) will host the second Translations Colloquium event of the Spring 2026 semester, highlighting her past and current experiences as a German-English translator. The event will be held from 12:30-1:20 next Thursday, March 12th in the Modern Language Center (Furman Hall 226). Light refreshments will be provided, so please be punctual if you would like to have a bite while Lila talks about her translation work!

Lila’s talk will be in English and all FU students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend. Knowledge of German may be helpful, but is neither expected nor required.
