Share Input on First Year Writing Outcomes at Upcoming Town Hall Sessions
Furman’s Writing Programs Advisory Group (WPAG) team focused on First Year Writing (FYW) Outcomes has been working on shared learning outcomes for the FYW seminar and seeks faculty and student feedback on the latest draft through town halls and an anonymous survey. Join the team for two dynamic, drop-in town hall sessions, where the community can review and provide feedback on the FYW Outcomes.
Come for the coffee and cookies—stay for the conversation! The Town Halls will take place Wednesday, November 13, 8–10 a.m., and Thursday, November 14, 2:30-4:30 p.m., both in the Hartness Pavilion. Attendees are welcome at both sessions but both follow the same format, so you only need to attend one.
The Furman community also has the option to provide feedback through an anonymous Qualtrics survey. All may read the FYW Learning Categories and Outcomes and if you are interested in learning more about the principles underpinning the team’s work, you can review the WPAG FYW Outcomes Team Guiding Principles.
