Building on the principles of the dialogic classroom, this workshop focuses on identifying and responding to “dialogic moments” — those unplanned opportunities for deeper connection, learning, or perspective-taking that arise in real time. Through case studies, guided reflection, and collaborative exercises, participants will consider how to integrate short, discrete dialogic moments in current or future classes. The session will equip educators with frameworks for transforming challenging exchanges into meaningful learning experiences. We will meet February 27, 2:30-4:30pm in LIB043.
