Decolonising Craft and Livelihood: Women & Opportunity in the Himalayan Foothills – CLP

Rachna Dushyant Singh, who is visiting us from India, will speak about ANKURI, the non-profit she founded nearly two decades ago to support women crafters in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains. Her presentation will discuss her 25 years of fieldwork on how women’s craft, literacy, and permaculture initiatives generate agency, income, and sustainable development in rural North India.
