Teams & Coaches
For our student-athletes, wearing the purple and white is more than a statement of school pride or team unity.
It is a symbol of their determination to succeed at the highest levels of competition and academic challenge, to represent Furman as winners even as they ask more of themselves as learners. Rooting for them, we let them know we are with them. And through CLEARLY FURMAN, donors can support them in ways that raise them up and carry them into every competition with everything they need to be their best.
Funding Opportunities
Team Endowments
Being a student-athlete demands a great deal of dedication from our Paladins. This dedication can only be maximized with the proper resources for team travel, training, equipment, nutrition, wellness, and more. An investment in any of our eighteen (check) Division I varsity sports creates the experience of a lifetime for our student-athletes, and the connection of a lifetime for our generous donors.
Coach Endowments
Nobody influences the success of our student-athletes quite like our coaches. These gracious leaders are recruiters and field engineers, scouts and mentors, and must call out the best in our student-athletes while representing Furman with class and character. Investing in endowments for our coaching staff, donors can singularly shape Furman’s ability to recruit, retain and support the leaders who define the success of our student-athletes on and off the field—and the caliber of programs that shape Furman’s reputation everywhere our teams go.

The Potential is Extraordinary
Guided by our strengths as a university, focused on learning experiences that empower students to achieve their most inspiring ambitions, we will do more than meet our mission and advance Furman’s reputation for excellence. As we become a national model for a liberal arts and sciences education, we will, through our graduates, influence action and ideas across the 21st century. This is the possibility within reach, and with your support we will make it happen.
Clearly Furman Priorities
Building on the best of Furman, we will elevate the university's excellence, access, and impact through these five campaign priorities.
