Gifts to annual funds at Furman University create an opportunity for all members of the Furman family to be a part of the success of The Furman Advantage. Annual donors serve as the foundation of the donor community, allowing faculty, staff and university leadership the flexibility to respond to the most pressing needs of the institution. Gifts of all sizes are needed, and the collective impact of those gifts provides the funding necessary to ensure all students receive the high-impact learning experiences that will prepare them for meaningful lives and careers.
Donors who generously contribute leadership annual gifts will be recognized as members of one of two leadership annual giving societies: the Young Benefactors Society, which celebrates the contributions of the newest members of the Furman alumni community, or The Bell Tower Society, which celebrates donors who contribute annual gifts of $2,500 or more annually.
Members of these societies will receive invitations to exclusive donor events, society-specific communications, and an invitation to the annual Bell Tower Ball.
