Providing faculty and alumni with the knowledge, skills and tools to advise and mentor students appropriately is central to our success. Gifts will provide access to workshops, training and materials, and offset other costs for faculty and alumni participating in the program.

Mentoring Program Endowment

This endowed fund supports initiatives that support Furman’s campus culture of mentoring, including programs that connect current students with a mentor during their Furman experience, programs that encourage reflection on and celebration of mentoring relationships across a student’s four-year path, and operational support to facilitate connections between students and potential mentors.

This endowed fund offers permanent support for the career shadowing programming for students. Developed to facilitate sophomore students shadowing alumni in their careers in a wide variety of industries in Greenville and other cities.
